Currently, the Department offers a Bachelor&#8217;s degree programme in 6B02101 \u2013 Traditional Musical Art, with specialisations in Folk Singing and Traditional Folk Instruments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Heads of the Department over the Years<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3\">\n<li><strong>2008\u20132009:<\/strong> Y.A. Mukhambetova, Honoured Education Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Silver Laureate of the Eurasian Literary Award in the category of Ethnographic and Ethnological Research, Doctor of Arts, Professor, and recipient of the Qurm\u0435t Order; P.N. Momynov, Honoured Figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor; G.N. Omarova, Doctor of Arts, Professor; A.S. Sabyrova, Candidate of Arts; G.Zh. Musagulova, Candidate of Arts, Associate Professor; Sayan Akmolda, kobyz performer and researcher; M. Their activities also include international concert tours, solo performances, radio and television broadcasts, the publication of monographs, collections of scholarly articles, textbooks and academic programmes, participation in national and international conferences, and the publication of research papers in domestic and international academic journals.
