On the second day of the International Congress of Cultural and Art Workers “Turkic Culture: Common origin and Development variations”, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the statesman and public figure Temirbek Zhurgenov, on May 31, 2023 – the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions, celebrated in Kazakhstan annually in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 5, 1997 No. 3443, as part of the events held \u00a0a solemn laying of flowers to the monument of Temirbek Zhurgenov in front of the KazNAI building. The gathered guests of the Congress, jurgenologists, staff, faculty and students of the Academy honored the memory of the outstanding statesman and public figure, founder of the infrastructure of culture and art of the young Turkic states Temirbek Karaevich Zhurgenov with a minute of silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rector of Temirbek Zhurgenov KazNAI Azamat Satybaldy made a speech at the solemn event. In his speech, paying tribute to the memory of Temirbek Zhurgenov, he mentioned that as Minister of Education in three Turkic republics, he launched large-scale activities to develop the culture of these young states and in his short life managed to do so much for their future. Azamat Satybaldy called on the audience to also serve their country and their people, to do everything according to their capabilities so that our descendants could also remember us with a kind word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, at the event, the chairman of the Public fund named after Temirbek Zhurgenov, Sabi Ansat, who put a lot of effort into organizing this congress, gave a speech and told about the activity of the Public fund named after Temirbek Zhurgenov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
