On February 29, 2024, in the library of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Temirbek Zhurgenov, the department of \u201cHistory and Theory of Fine Arts\u201d of the Faculty of Art History held a round table on the topic \u201cHeritage\u201d, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the famous Kazakh painter, graphic artist, one of the founders national fine art of Abylkhan Kasteev. The main goal of this event is to popularize the life and work of the founder of the fine arts of Kazakhstan to the modern young generation. The round table was attended by students and teachers of the academy, the first daughter of A. Kasteev Guldaria Abilkhanovna Kasteeva, Zhubanova Gulnur Alpysbaevna art critic of the Kasteev Ministry of Education. This event was opened by Professor Khalykov Kabyl Zamanbekuly, Doctor of Philosophy, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Temirbek Zhurgenov. During the round table, presentations were made about the work of Abylkhan Kasteev. Among the speakers, Gulnur Alpysbaevna Zhubanova, scientific director of the \u201cKazakhstan Department of Fine Arts\u201d of the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A. Kasteev, spoke about the \u201cUniqueness of the exhibition of the Almaty State Museum of Art, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the People\u2019s Artist of Kazakhstan Abylkhan Kasteev\u201d; – Olga Vladimirovna Baturina, professor of the department of \u201cHistory and Theory of Fine Arts\u201d, candidate of art history, read a report on the topic \u201cPhilosophy of painting by Abylkhan Kasteev\u201d; – Artistic director of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, art critic Gulnaz Bersugirovna Kosanova shared interesting information about \u201cThe Work and Life of A. Kasteev.\u201d We are confident that events like this will have a great impact on the participants and students and will have a huge impact on their search for a creative profession!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
