From September 24 to 27, 2025, the Vice-Rector of the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts (KazNAA), K.Z. Khalykov<\/strong>, participated in the prestigious International Forum of Rectors of New-Type Universities<\/strong> in Shenzhen, China. The forum, hosted by the Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU), focused on the highly relevant topic: \u201cArtificial Intelligence: Rethinking the Future of New-Type Universities.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Key Achievements of the Visit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, Vice-Rector Research Khalykov K.Z. took part in the \u201cScience Week\u201d<\/strong> events and spoke at the official opening of the Forum, marking a number of strategic successes for our Academy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC):<\/strong> KazNAA named after T. Zhurgenov and the School of Music at Shenzhen Technology University concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation<\/strong> in the fields of culture and science. This document opens new horizons for joint educational and research projects. The MoC was signed alongside 16 other leading universities from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognition for Scenography Excellence:<\/strong> During the solemn closing ceremony of the Forum, Vice-Rector Khalykov K.Z.<\/strong> was awarded the Diploma of Honorary Professor of Shenzhen Technology University<\/strong> for his outstanding achievements in the field of scenography<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategic Advisory Role:<\/strong> Vice-Rector Khalykov K.Z. was included in the Strategic Development Advisory Board<\/strong> of the School of Music at Shenzhen Technology University for a period of 3 years. This highly signals international recognition of our Academy’s expertise in integrating art and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in the Forum marks an important step in realizing KazNAA’s strategy to integrate innovative technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, into art education programs, confirming the Academy’s international status as a leader in shaping the “new-type university.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
