The Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences will hold the VII International Scientific and Theoretical Conference of Students and Young Scholars titled “Science, Education and Art in the 21st Century: Development Vectors, Challenges and Integration” on April 16, dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the birth of Ыбырай Алтынсарин.
The purpose of the conference is to exchange modern scientific information and practical experience on актуal issues in the humanities and the arts, as well as to foster the scientific worldview, national identity, and active civic position of Kazakhstani youth through the example of the life and work of the educator, teacher, writer, ethnographer, folklorist, and public figure Ыбырай (Ибрагим) Алтынсарин (1841–1889), who created the first Kazakh alphabet based on the Cyrillic script, opened a network of secular schools for the people, and laid the foundation of Kazakh children's literature.
The VII International Scientific and Theoretical Conference will take place on April 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the cinema hall of the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, located at: 127 Panfilov Street, Almaty.

Young teachers, doctoral students, master’s students, and undergraduate students from higher educational institutions of Hungary, the USA, Bashkortostan, Uzbekistan, Latvia, the Chechen Republic, Tajikistan, and the Republic of Kazakhstan will take part in the conference.
The conference will be held in a hybrid format: offline and online via the ZOOM platform (for participants from other cities).
Working languages of the conference: Kazakh, Russian, and English.
