The Research and Innovation Department(RID) of the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts organizes and coordinates the Academy’s scientific, research, and methodological activities within the framework of its 2026–2029 research theme, “National Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Art in the Context of Digital and Intelligent Technologies.”
The Department also oversees the publication of the international peer-reviewed scientific journal Central Asian Journal of Art Studies (CAJAS), which is included in the list of academic journals recommended by the authorized body of the Republic of Kazakhstan for publishing the principal results of scientific research.
