The Department of Professional Development and Continuing Education is a structural unit of the Academy responsible for delivering professional development and continuing education programs. Professional development courses are provided on the basis of applications and agreements concluded with educational institutions, as well as with other individuals and legal entities.
The Department’s objectives are to improve:
The theoretical knowledge and practical skills of specialists, teaching staff, and managers in the fields of culture and the arts.
The Department’s main tasks are:
– deepening participants’ knowledge of relevant disciplines in light of the latest advances in science;
– improving the professional and pedagogical skills of teaching staff;
– reviewing and developing teaching methods and innovative technologies for vocational education, and using them to improve the quality of specialist training;
– providing continuing education services in the Academy’s areas of specialization to various groups of citizens and other participants in educational activities from neighboring and other countries;
– acquiring new theoretical and practical knowledge in one’s specialty in response to higher qualification requirements and the need to master innovative approaches to professional tasks;
– meeting the educational needs of all groups of citizens.
Participants who complete continuing education programs are awarded an Academy certificate.
Courses under continuing education programs are open both to Academy students and to anyone wishing to enroll in such programs.
Applicants wishing to enroll must submit the following documents to the Department:
