On April 07-08, the Faculty of “Art History” of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. K. Zhurgenov held a republican online creative contest for potential applicants “Topzhargan”. Students of a number of educational institutions of the country took part in the competition. The main goal of the competition is to attract talented young people with writing and critical abilities; to give an opportunity to try their hand to applicants who seek to promote works of cinema, theater and fine arts, study them and express a creative and scientific approach and dream of writing plays, scripts, TV projects. In addition, the winners of the competition, who took the first place, according to the educational program “Art History” of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K.Zhurgenov “Theater Studies”, “Art History”, “Film Studies” and “Film Drama” in the 2022-2023 academic year, were given a discount on entrance exams, that is, the opportunity to pass a comprehensive test without passing a creative exam. The contest participants in the profiles “Theater Studies” and “Cinema Drama” wrote essays and short stories on three given topics. The works submitted to the competition were analyzed and evaluated by the members of the commission from among the authoritative professors and teachers of the faculty. As a result of the competition, the following participants took places.

According to the profile “Theater Studies”:

Ramazan Guldana, a 4th-year student of the Issyk Humanitarian and Economic College with a degree in Primary Education, took 1st place and had the opportunity to pass a comprehensive test on the “Theater Studies” profile without a creative exam. The 2nd place was taken by a 3rd-year student of the specialty “Master of Artistic Reading” of the Republican Circus and Circus College named after Zh. Elebekova Zhanabai Beybarys. 3rd place was taken by a 3rd-year student of the specialty “Actor of musical theater” of the college of KazNAI named after T. Zhurgenov Zhenisova Nurai. The rest of the participants were given letters of thanks.

According to the profile of “Cinematography”:

1 place was not awarded to anyone due to the lack of creative work recognized as the best in accordance with the terms of the competition. The 2nd place was shared by Ihsan Almat and Balabek Aruzhan, the 3rd place was shared by Berdybai Almira, Asan Altynbek and Rahimzhan Amina.
