International scientific and practical conference «Actual problems of theater science and education in the context of modern challenges», dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of Tungyshbai Kadyrovich Zhamankulov.
The Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Temirbek Zhurgenov of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a number of events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Union of Theatrical Figures of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Art History, knight of the Order “Parasat”, Professor Tungyshbai Kadyrovich Zhamankulov. First, the presentation of the book “Tungyshbai Zhamankulov. Onegeli omir”, after that the International scientific and practical conference “Actual problems of theater science and education in the context of modern challenges” and the creative evening of students “Onerdin Makhambeti”. On the anniversary of Tungyshbay Kadyrovich, a congratulatory letter from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and congratulatory letters from many official organizations and institutions, international organizations, art collectives were received. In the presentation of the book “Tungyshbai Zhamankulov. Onegeli omir” was attended by Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Art History, Professor Kulbayev Aman Bekenovich and theater director, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Professor Rakhimov Aubakir Sydykovich, as well as Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, poet Kasymkhan Begmanov.
After the book presentation ceremony, an international scientific and practical conference was held on the topic: “Actual problems of theater science and education in the context of modern challenges.” The moderator of the international conference was the Vice-rector for Academic and Methodological Work of the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Sharipbek Amirbekov Agabayevich. The event was attended by a professor of the State Institute of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan from Tashkent, Doctor of Art History, theater critic Sarvinoz Mukhsinovna Kadyrova, outstanding theater and film actor from Bishkek, People’s Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan Odurakaev Busurmankul Kozhokululy. The well-known theater critic of the country, Candidate of art history, associate professor, vice–president of the Association of Theater Critics of Kazakhstan – Mukan Amangeldy Orazbaevich opened the curtain of the conference with the report “Er enseli Tungyshbai”. Advisor to the Mayor of Almaty, Candidate of Philological Sciences Akhetov Mamai Kaniuly also made a report.
During the conference, topical issues of modern theater were comprehensively raised, in particular acting, directing and visual art, national theater art in the era of globalization, and ways to solve it were considered.
