On November 20, 2023 in the library, the Scientific and Editorial Department (SED) of the Academy held a Meeting-Seminar of the Council of Young Scientists (hereinafter – CYS) and the Student Scientific Society (hereinafter  – SSS) of the Academy. The event was attended by doctoral students, undergraduates and students, members of the SMU and SSS, proposed by each department, as well as teachers responsible for research work from the departments of the Academy.
The work of the Meeting-Seminar was opened by Vice-Rector for Scientific Work Kabyl Zamanbekovich Khalykov. He introduced the meeting participants to each other, spoke about the plans and prospects for the work of the CYS and SSS Academy organizations created in the 2023-2024 academic year.
The head of the scientific and editorial department, Zhanna Didarbekovna Ramadanova, introduced those present to the basics of working with the international databases Scopus and Web of Science, as well as the generally accepted rules for submitting articles to international scientific publications and journals of Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the international journal – Central Asian Journal of Art Studies, publishing by the Academy (CAJAS, website: https://cajas.kz/journal).
