On September 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., a workshop dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in educational and research activities will be held at the Library of the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts.

The workshop will cover the following topics: “Preventing the Misuse of AI: Recommendations for Assessing Student and Academic Work for AI-Generated Content” and “Implementing AI Use Policies at Universities: Examples, International Experience, Regulatory Approaches, and Assessment Criteria.”

The event will be held jointly with representatives of the StrikePlagiarism.com anti-plagiarism system.

The workshop will address current approaches to the responsible use of AI in higher education, ensuring academic integrity, as well as the identification and assessment of content generated using artificial intelligence technologies.

The event aims to raise awareness among the Academy’s professorial, teaching and administrative staff of the responsible use of AI and modern approaches to maintaining academic integrity.
