
On September 29, 2026, a workshop dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence in educational and research activities was held at the Library of the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts.
The event was jointly organised by the Academy’s Research and Innovation Department and representatives of the StrikePlagiarism.com anti-plagiarism system.
The workshop addressed the prevention of misuse of artificial intelligence and provided recommendations for assessing academic and research papers for AI-generated content. Particular attention was given to the implementation of AI use policies at universities, international practices, regulatory approaches, and assessment criteria.
Participants learned about current approaches to the responsible use of artificial intelligence technologies in higher education, the promotion of academic integrity, and the identification and assessment of AI-generated content.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants were awarded certificates.
The workshop helped raise awareness among the Academy’s teaching and administrative staff regarding the responsible use of artificial intelligence and adherence to the principles of academic integrity.
