The second session of the Silver University program within the educational track “Kazakhstan’s Cinematic Art” took place

On 24 November 2025, the second session of the Silver University program within the educational track “Kazakhstan’s Cinematic Art” took place.

Session topic: viewing and discussion of the film “The Girl and the Sea” (2018), directed by Aziz Zairov and Mukhamed Mamyrbekov.
Genre: social drama. Produced by: Kazakhfilm JSC, Association of Parents of Children with Disabilities (ARDI).

The film is a prize-winner at film festivals in England, «Eurasia» (Kazakhstan), «Silver Akbuzat» (Bashkortostan, Russia), Spain, Bangladesh, and France.
It also received a letter of appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
