Republican scientific and methodological Round table “The Great Thinker of Kazakh Literature”, dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the scientist, Doctor of Philology, Professor Suyunshaliev Khangali Zhumashuly

October 30, 2023 at the department of “History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences” together with library No. 2 of KazNAI named after. Temirbek Zhurgenov, as part of the Week of Languages ​​“Stars of the East – Continuity of Generations”, a Republican Round Table “The Great Thinker of Kazakh Literature” was held, dedicated to the 105th anniversary of Doctor of Philology, professor, major scientist Suyunshaliev Khangali Zhumashuly.

The event was organized by teachers of the department: Ph.D., associate professor Sarsembayeva A.Zh., Ph.D., associate professor. Biyazdykova A.A., master, senior lecturer. Abdykadyrova A.Z.

The work of the Round Table was opened with an opening speech by the head of the department, candidate of philosophical sciences, professor Alimzhanova A.Sh. The event was attended by colleagues, students of Professor Suyunshaliev Kh.Zh.: Doctor of Philology, Professor of KazNU named after. al-Farabi Bisengali Kabiuly Zeynol-Gabden; Candidate of Biological Sciences, daughter of the scientist Suyinshaliyev Umit Khangalikyzy, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of West Kazakhstan State University named after Makhambet Utemisov Zhangeldi Zhumakayuly; Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor of Kokshetau State University named after Sh.Ualikhanov Zhambek Sabit Nurmukhambetuly;

Guests of the Round Table shared their memories of the scientist, whose priority merit is the development and research of the works of Abay Kunanbayev, and the systematization of the History of Kazakh literature. Carefully analyzing the works of many medieval authors: Kashgari, Balasaguni, Yassaui, Khorezmi, and others, the researcher, based on a consistent chronological study, establishes a natural trend of continuity in the formation and development of Kazakh literature.

 During the round table, students of the Faculty of Musical Art presented a creative program.
