On April 21, 2026, students from the Department of Choreography participated in the «New Generation» International Choreography Competition. The competition was organized by the Department of Folk Dance at the Tyumen State Institute of Culture.

The following students were named laureates:

Third-place laureate in the «Contemporary Dance» category — Amoeva Kamilla, a third-year student in the Department of Choreography Pedagogy, majoring in Contemporary Choreography Pedagogy. Advisor: Gabbasova Gulmira, Associate Professor of the Department «Ballet Master’s Art».

Second-place laureate in the «Contemporary Dance» category — Akhmoldina Ksenia, a third-year student in the Department of Choreography Pedagogy, majoring in Pedagogy of Contemporary Choreography. Advisor: Gabbasova Gulmira, Associate Professor in the Department «Ballet Master’s Art».
