On September 5–6, 2026, the Asian Sport Ballroom Dance Championship was held in Chengdu, China.

Daniil Iskhakov, a Kazakhstani dancer and a 2nd-year student in the Department of Choreography Pedagogy, specializing in Sports Ballroom Dance Pedagogy, won a bronze medal (third place) at the WDSF Asian Championship for athletes under 21 in the Standard (European program). Congratulations!
