At the initiative of the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Erlan Karin, a seminar dedicated to the promotion of elements of intangible cultural heritage included in the UNESCO Representative List was held in Almaty on October 29–30.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Institute for Cultural Development, and the Federation of National UNESCO Clubs of Kazakhstan.
The seminar was attended by first-year master’s students of the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, as well as the Academy’s faculty members and specialists from the Department of Scientific Personnel Training.
Such initiatives make a significant contribution to the preservation and transmission of national cultural heritage from generation to generation and promote the international recognition of Kazakhstani art.
