On October 19–23, 2026, the Faculty of Choreography at the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts hosted master classes by lecturers from the Latvian Academy of Culture, who visited the Academy as part of the Erasmus+ academic mobility program.

Master classes in Jazz dance technique were conducted by Olga Spridzane, a Jazz dance lecturer at the Latvian College of Culture and head of the Jazz Dance Fusion dance initiative.

Master classes in Hip-Hop, House, Locking and Funk techniques were conducted by Kristina Tumakova, head of the «Hip-Hop Dance» specialization at the Latvian College of Culture.

The master classes were attended by 1st to 4th-year students of the Faculty of Choreography, specializing in «Pedagogy of Сontemporary Choreography» and the «Ballet Master Art» educational program.
