On 30 September 2026, a seminar was held on organizing the annual competition of research projects conducted by students of higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The seminar was attended by winners of the previous Student Research Projects Competition, as well as faculty members and students of the Academy.

Kabyl Zamanbekuly Khalykov, Vice-Rector for Science, emphasized the importance of students’ participation and success in the National Student Research Competition, as these achievements are taken into consideration when applying for master’s and doctoral programmes.

The academic supervisors of the winners of the second stage of last year’s competition shared their experience of participating in the National Student Research Competition:

Zhanat Azimkhanovna Baimukhanova — Associate Professor at the Department of Scenography;

Baubek Baurzhanuly Nogerbek — Associate Professor at the Department of History and Theory of Cinema, PhD;

Zhansaya Yerlikyzy Turmaganbet — Lecturer at the Department of History and Theory of Theatre Arts, Master’s degree holder.

Shynar Omirgalikyzy Orazgaliyeva, Head of the Research and Innovation Department, introduced faculty members and students to the requirements of the Student Research Projects Competition.

The seminar was organized by the Research and Innovation Department.
