From February 16 to 20, 2026, the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts will host Science Week under the theme “Kazakhstan at the Horizon of Science and Art: Historical Consciousness, Identity, and Cultural Heritage.”
The Science Week program brings together academic research and artistic practice, focusing on key issues of historical memory, national identity, cultural heritage, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence in contemporary society.
The week will feature research-creative workshops, immersive performances, intellectual debates, start-up sessions, project sprints, interactive dialogue-mapping formats, and a social hackathon.
Students and faculty members from the departments of choreography, art studies, music, theatre, visual arts, sculpture, design, film, and television will take part in the events.
Science Week is organized within the framework of the Social Sciences Section by the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences.
