On 05/15/2026, the Academy library hosted a reporting scientific seminar based on the results of the scientific internship of 2nd – year doctoral students .
The scientific seminar was held in order to summarize the results of the scientific internship of 2nd-year doctoral students, exchange research results, discuss modern scientific approaches and strengthen international academic cooperation. The seminar was attended by doctoral students, scientific supervisors, teachers of the department.
During the seminar, doctoral students presented reports on their scientific internships in foreign scientific and educational organizations. The main directions of the conducted research work, methods and tools of scientific analysis, as well as the results obtained in the framework of dissertation research were highlighted.
Special attention was paid to the following issues:
- improving the methodology of scientific research;
- application of modern digital and analytical technologies;
- publication activity of doctoral students;
- participation in international scientific projects and conferences;
- expansion of academic and professional competencies.
During the presentations, the doctoral students noted that the internship allowed:
- to deepen theoretical knowledge on the topic of dissertation research;
- to master modern methods of scientific data processing and analysis;
- gain practical experience working with foreign scientific bases and laboratories;
- establish scientific contacts with foreign scientists and research centers;
- to increase the level of academic mobility and scientific communication.
Following the discussion, the seminar participants emphasized the importance of a scientific internship as an important element of the preparation of doctors of philosophy (PhD), contributing to improving the quality of dissertation research and integration into the international scientific space.
Based on the results of the scientific seminar, a decision was made:
- To recognize the results of the scientific internship of the 2nd year doctoral students as satisfactory.
- To recommend doctoral students to continue their research work in accordance with individual plans.
- To intensify publication activities in international scientific journals.
- To continue developing cooperation with foreign scientific organizations and universities.
The scientific seminar confirmed the effectiveness of the scientific internship in the formation of doctoral students’ research competencies and the development of their professional potential.
