On November 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., a creative exhibition titled “Time, Form, Space” was held in the exhibition hall of the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, organized by the “Aluan” Laboratory of Young Art Historians.
The exhibition showcased works by artists who made a significant contribution to the development of professional Kazakh sculpture – Yesken Sergeybayev, senior sculptors Malik Zhunisbay, Shokan Tolesh, Bolat Kussainov, as well as pieces by young authors Rinat Shynybayev and Bagdat Sarsen. Their plastic explorations and distinct stylistic approaches broadened the artistic scope of the exhibition. In addition, creative works by students specializing in sculpture complemented the exposition, demonstrating the professional potential of emerging artists. As part of the event, fourth-year Art History students carried out an art historical analysis of the displayed sculptures, examining their compositional solutions and artistic features. Overall, the exhibition became a notable cultural event, vividly presenting various ways of interpreting time and space through form, and highlighting the continuity between traditional and contemporary directions of Kazakh sculpture.
