Opening of the Festival of Traditional Music of the Peoples of Central Asia, held within the framework of International scientific and practical Conference “Traditions of oral musical professionalism and modernity” for the 80th anniversary of Doctor of Art History, Professor Mukhambetova A.I.
On October 12 at 18.30 the opening of the Festival of Traditional Music of the Peoples of Central Asia took place. All guests – famous traditional performers from the Central Asian republics – were invited to the stage of the Educational Theater:
- • Abror Zufarov and Salamat Ayapov (Uzbekistan and Karkalpakstan)
- • Esenbol Begaliev Turdukan Sarbanova (Kyrgyzstan)
- • Ensemble “Maqom Academy of Tajikistan” – Abduvali Abdurashidov (leader), Ozoda Ashurova, Zoir Khaydarov, Dilrabo Abdurashidova, Iskandar Abdurashidov (Tajikisan)
- • Ai Charykh Kuchen (Russian Federation, Khakassia)
- • Choduraa Tumat (Russian Federation, Tuva),
as well as participants of the 1st concert from Kazakhstan: Murat Abugazy, Talgat Mukyshev, Sholpan Darzhanova, Nurzhan Zhanpeyisov, Syrym Nurmoldin, Adilet Musa, Shadat Sultan, Zhasar Nurdanbekuly
The program of the 1st concert of the Festival featured the traditional music of the eastern regions of the Turkic world – the World of Nomads of Central Asia: Khakassia, Tuva, Altai, Kyrgyzstan and the eastern regions of Kazakhstan.
