In order to familiarize first-year postgraduate students with the specifics of the organization of the educational process in the master’s and doctoral studies, the Department of Scientific Personnel Training of the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts conducted informational and methodological seminars for undergraduates and doctoral students of the 1st year. The materials of the seminars covered the organization of training, research activities, practical training, scientific internships and preparation of final qualifying papers.          The seminars made it possible to familiarize students with the regulatory requirements for the development of postgraduate educational programs, explain the rights and obligations of undergraduates and doctoral students, as well as answer questions related to the organization of educational and scientific activities. The seminars contributed to the adaptation of students to the educational process and the formation of an understanding of the main stages of preparation of master’s and doctoral theses.
