CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE ACADEMIC MOBILITY PROGRAM UNDER BILATERAL AGREEMENTS FOR THE SPRING SEMESTER OF THE 2026–2027 ACADEMIC YEAR

We are pleased to announce the opening of the application period for participation in the Academic Mobility Program under bilateral agreements for the spring semester of the 2026–2027 academic year!

Applications will be accepted from September 17 through September 30, 2026, inclusive.

APPLICATIONS FROM FIRST-YEAR AND GRADUATING STUDENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Foreign partner universities have a limited number of available places.

The competition will consist of two stages: a selection stage and a final stage.

To participate in the competition (Stage I), applicants must submit the following documents:

  1. – Application form (a sample can be obtained from Room 9);
  2. – Transcript in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, and English), issued by the Office of the Registrar (Room 5);
  3. – Motivation letter (in Kazakh or Russian);
  4. – Letter of recommendation, certified with the signature of the master/supervisor/academic advisor and the Dean of the Faculty (in Kazakh or Russian);
  5. – Language certificates: IELTS score of at least 5.0; German language proficiency of at least B2; Korean language proficiency of at least TOPIK Level 3. Students who have an IELTS score of 5.0 or higher are exempt from the interview.

The schedule for Stage I of the competitive selection will be announced additionally. The results of the selection stage will be published on the Academy’s website and social media accounts.

Stage II of the competitive selection (final stage) The final stage will take place at the host university by the end of November/December 2026. The final decision regarding a student’s participation in the Academic Mobility Program will be made by the administration of the host university. The complete application package will be prepared based on the results of both stages.

The above-mentioned documents should be submitted to Room 9 (Main Building).
