From April 4 to 10, 2023, in Almaty Alexander Seleznyov Choreographic School the VIII International Competition of choreographic institutions “Orleu” in honor of the 90th anniversary of the People’s Artist of the Kazakh SSR – Sara Idrisovna Kusherbayeva was held which was attended by students of the department “Choreography” KazNAI named after Temirbek Zhurgshenov.

In the competition program in the category “Contemporary choreography” took a team of student dance theater “Asian Student’s Dance”, including Amangeldieva Asel (1st year PCH), Amanova Alice (1st year PCH), Begezhanova Ayan (1st year PCH), Aziza Kakimova (1st year PC), Mariyeva Mariyam (1st year PC), Jasmine Musabaeva (1st year BI), Dana Sagnaeva (1st year PC), Erkezhan Kayrhanova (2nd year HSBT) and Kibirov Fahim (1st year BI) choreographer-director of dance compositions under the supervision of the head of the Chair “Pedagogy of Children” of the Chair “Physical Education and Sport” of the Technical University of Almaty. According to the results of the contest, the students’ dance theater “Asian Student’s Dance” won the 3rd degree diploma.
