October 24 at 11:00. in the library of building No. 2, a republican round table “Akseleudin asyl murasy” was held dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.S. Seydimbek. The round table was organized by teachers-Kazakhologists of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and social sciences. The event was attended by well-known Kazakh writers and scientists: Nurdaulet Akysh, Kanseyit Abdezuly, Kuandyk Tumenbai and Almasbek Absadyk. The guests of the round table shared their memories of the writer, scientist, art critic Akseleu Seydimbek. Head of the Department History of Kazakhstan and social sciences Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Professor Alimzhanova A.Sh. made a report on the life and work of A. Seydimbek. During the round table, students of the 1st year of the specialty Folk Instruments of the Faculty of Music Baghlan Bakhtiyaruly and Kappasov Baltabek performed kyui. 2nd year students of the specialty Folk singing of the Faculty of Music Utemuratov Zhasulan and Oral Bakhtiyar performed the songs “Saryarka”, “Dauren-ai”. 2nd year students of the specialty Theater of Drama and Cinema of the Faculty of Theater Arts Rakhmetulla Erasyl, Kadyrov Torezhan and Asker Ulan read excerpts from the writer’s work. Students participating in the round table asked questions and expressed their wishes to the guests. The round table was moderated by Biyazdykova A.A. PhD doctor, associate professor of the department History of Kazakhstan and social sciences.
