On February 10, 2023, in the cinema hall of Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, the faculty “Choreography” held a round table on the topic “Dauren Abirov – the first Kazakh choreographer”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the choreographer.

Guests of honor were represented by children of Dauren Tastambekovich – Erkin Daurenovich Abirov and Kamila Daurenovna Abirov and Ludmila Antonovna Zhuykova, Candidate of Historical Science, Professor of the department “Choreography Pedagogy” of Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts.

The guests and participants of the event were addressed by students, masters, doctoral students and teachers of the academy, devoted to life and work of the outstanding meter of the national art: “Pedagogical activity of D.T. Abirov”. – A 4-year student Nurmagambetova Medina, “From the Department of Choreography to the chair” – a 1-year doctoral student Kuketov Berik Alpysbaevich; “Content peculiarities of Dauren Abirov’s national dances” – 1st year doctoral student Bakirova Samal Abilpattashevna; “Dauren Abirov and Kazakh choreography of the XX century” – head of the department “Ballet Master” – head of the department. The department “Ballet Art” of Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts; “Dauren Abirov – a significant person in the national choreography” – Alima Talgatovna Moldahmetova – head of the department “Stage Plastique” of Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts Shankibayeva Aliya Bakhitzhanovna.
