Round table (networking) of the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Design, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Temirbek Zhurgenov

November 29, 2022 at 12.00 pm in the library of T.K. Zhurgenov KazNAI, in accordance with the declared year 2023 – the year of Temirbek Zhurgenov in the Turkic world, a round table (networking) was held on the topic: “Analysis of the exhibition of works of fine art within the framework of the Decade of Literature and Art of Kazakhstan, held in Moscow, 1936” . The author of the idea is Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Kulshanova Arman Ayypbekovna. Faculty teachers responsible for organizing and holding the event: PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Fine Arts Kairanov E. B. and Ph.D., Professor of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts Zh. T. Beristenov. During the round table, reports prepared by several teachers of the Academy were presented. The main topical issues were the display and discussion of archival materials about the exhibition of artists within the framework of the decade in 1936 in the capital of the USSR, Moscow. Also, important materials on the opening of the Union of Artists, on the opening of educational institutions, on the development of the fine arts of Kazakhstan after this international decade were familiarized. The leading role and place of Temirbek Zhurgenov in many such achievements were determined, which were presented to the audience, guests, teachers, undergraduates and students by the following speakers:

1) Sadykova Aigul Eginbaevna, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor of the department “History of Kazakhstan and social disciplines”. Topic of the report: “The role of the organizer of the decade of Kazakh culture and art in 1936 in Moscow T. Zhurgenov”;

2) Beristenov Zhanarbek Tanigazinovich, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts. Topic of the report: “Formation of the creative organization of artists of Kazakhstan by the beginning of the 1930s”;

3) Kairanov Yerbol Bakharamovich, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Fine Arts. Topic of the report: “The image of the personality of Temirbek Zhurgenov in the fine arts of independent Kazakhstan”;

4) Doszhanov Bauyrzhan Tattibekovich, Master of Arts, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts. Topic of the report: “Informing students about the successes of contemporary tapestry artists of Kazakhstan at the III International Triennale Exhibition in the Russian Federation”;

5) Nurdubaeva Asiya Ruslanovna, member of the SA and SD of the RK, candidate of architecture, associate professor of the department “Design. Topic of the report: “National sovereignty and personality in history. T. Zhurgenova. Formula: “national in form, international in content.”
