On March 01, 2023, a meeting was held with the employers of the Faculty of “Art History”. The event was organized under the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty of “Art History” Meruert Zhaksylykova, Head of the Department of “History and Theory of Theatrical Art” Anar Yerkebay, Head of the Department of “History and Theory of Cinema” Baubek Nogerbek. The meeting with employers was held in order to find a rational solution to the issues of improvement and prospects for the development of the faculty’s educational programs. Specially invited stakeholders: Vice-President of Kazakhfilm JSC named after Sh. Aimanova Serik Abishev, Director of the Almaty TV channel Timur Bazarbayev, Head of the Theater and Cinema Department of the M. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art Amangeldy Mukan, Deputy Director for Audience Relations of the Kazakh State Academic Theater for Children and Youth named after G.Musrepov Maksat Kamalov, Deputy Director of the KGKP “State Puppet Theater” G. Almaty Bakhyt Tushaev, President of “Baiqonyr International Short Film Festival” and director of the film portal “BROD.KZ ” Anuar Kenzhibayev, Chief Editor of the SMM Department of the information portal Tengrinews.kz Asem Serikbay shared their recommendations on the training of qualified specialists, and also noted the positions of specialists in which there is a shortage. At the meeting, various aspects of the learning process of students of the multidisciplinary Faculty of Art History were analyzed, which contribute to attracting students to professionalism and the formation of the necessary skills and knowledge in each specialty. The result of this analysis was the creation of a bridge between students and potential employers, which will play an important role in the process of becoming professionals in the future. Following the results of the meeting, proposals and opinions from employers were taken into account, which will help to prepare high-quality specialists who meet the requirements of the labor market.
