ROUND TABLE ON CHOREOGRAPHY, DEDICATED TO THE 125TH ANNIVERSARY OF TEMIRBEK ZHURGENOV

On November 25, 2022, at the Faculty of Choreography of the Academy of Arts, a Republican round table was held on the topic: “Graduates of Zhurgenov: formation and development of higher choreographic education in Kazakhstan”, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Temirbek Karaevich Zhurgenov.

The round table was attended as invited guests by teachers who stood at the origins of the faculty Andosov Kadyrkul Nysanbaevich, Shubladze Olga Borisovna and graduates of the Academy of different years: Tutkibayeva Gulzhan Usambekovna (artistic director Ballet troupe of the KazNTOB named after Abay), Alisheva Alila Tursumbaevna (Director of Educational Work, Professor KazNACH), Saitova Gulnara Yusupovna (Professor Kaznakh), Tukeev Murat Oryndykpaevich (director of the ballet scoull named after Alexandr Seleznev), Izim Toygan Ospanovna (Professor KazNACH), Gulfida Gafurova (teacher-tutor of the GATT RK under the guidance of B. Ayukhanov), Turginbaeva Aitalyn Nesipbekovna (Dean of the Faculty of Choreography KazNACH).

During the event, reports of students and undergraduates prepared under the guidance of faculty teachers were heard in the context of the round table topic: “Temirbek Zhurgenov and the choreographic art of Kazakhstan” (1st-year master’s student Tolegen Akzhunis, head of Aukhadiev I. R.), “About the Faculty of Choreography” (1st-year undergraduates Tenizbay A., Asylbekkyzy Zh., head Moldakhmetova A. T.), “Creative and pedagogical activity of Bulat Dzhantaev” (4th year student of the faculty Nurmagambetova M., head Aukhadiev I. R.).

At the end of the event, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, teachers and students of the faculty talked with veterans and outstanding figures of choreographic education and art, thereby strengthening and making their invaluable contribution to the continuity of generations at the Faculty of Choreography of the Temirbek Zhurgenov Academy of Arts.
