On 08.10.2026, an open lecture on contemporary choreography in Germany was held in the Cinema Hall of the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts.

The lecture was prepared by the author of the project, Jeanne Tulendy, director, producer, founder and artistic director of the JOLDA Dance Theatre. The lecture was held as part of the educational lecture series «Rhythm», a joint project of the Goethe-Institut in Kazakhstan with the independent contemporary dance theater JOLDA Dance Theatre. The project is aimed at expanding the discourse on modern dance in the Kazakh language and creating a sustainable space for the exchange of knowledge in this field.

The moderator of the event, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Dean of the Faculty of Choreography, Ilzat Aukhadiyev. The lecture was attended by the teaching staff, students of the departments «Pedagogy of Choreography» and «Ballet Master’s Art», as well as graduates of the faculty from different years.
