On November 28, 2023, the library of Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts presented the book “The World of theater and cinema” by the writer, playwright, winner of the State prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, professor of Art History Faculty of Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts Dulat Isabekov.
This book, called” The world of theater and cinema”, includes lectures by the author for many years in the field of drama and film drama at Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts. The book is intended for students of philological faculties and art historians, as well as for the general public who are eager to learn the basics and secrets of this field. The first part of the book shows young playwrights and young screenwriters the theoretical and practical ways of writing plays and scripts, the second part is enthusiastically written about the selfless work of the Masters of World Cinema in order to overcome various difficulties in the search.
The third part,” Fateful tarlans”, reveals the fate of World Classics – Aristophanes, W. Shakespeare, I. Goethe, N. Gogol, A. Chekhov, M. Gorky, M. Bulgakov, which is unknown to us. These educational works of D. Isabekov, who knows the field of drama and film drama well through his experience, will undoubtedly be a great book not only for theater and film professionals who are just starting to write, but also for the general public.
The presentation was opened by the vice-rector on educational and methodological work, Doctor of political sciences, professor Amirbekov Sharipbek Agabayevich with a speech of gratitude.
The moderator of the presentation, candidate of art history, theater critic Mukan Amankeldy Orazbayuly, sincerely congratulated the guests on the holding of such an important event, and expressed warm wishes to the author, who conveyed the high content and artistic level of the book.
