From October 14-15, 2023, the first international film festival (short meters) was held in the city of Arkadag (Republic of Turkmenistan), with the participation of young cinematographers of Central Asia called “The Dawn of Arkadag”. Undergraduates of the 1st year of the educational program 7M028 Directing/ 7M02154 “Directing Cinema and TV” took part from the Faculty of “Cinema and TV”. Rustem Dastanuly for the film “Sary Omir” was awarded the III prize, Bekarys Sugirbek with the film “Kobyz” received a diploma of the participant.
