The festival of CIS countries  «GITIS – master class» opened with the performance  «Mozart».

The Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. K. Zhurgenov opened the festival with a musical production of «Mozart». After the show, the students of the theater department of GITIS organized a discussion of the performance, which was attended by the audience and actors. Traditionally, during all days, the masters and teachers of GITIS will conduct lectures and master classes for the participants of the festival on stage speech, stage movement and the skill of the actor. At the end of the program, students will discuss the performances they have seen with university teachers. The festival is held with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS member states and the information support of TV BRICS. The organizers see the purpose of the event as strengthening cultural cooperation and establishing ties between the CIS countries in the field of theater education. For the first time the festival was held in GITIS in 2018 and even in lockdown conditions did not stop its work.
