On March 28, 2023, the second round of the international competition for young choreographers dedicated to Bulat Ayukhanov, a prominent figure in the choreographic art and education of Kazakhstan, was held at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography in Astana.

According to the results of decision of highly qualified independent jury of competition the students of the faculty “Choreography” of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Temirbek Zhurgenov became the Laureates of the 1st place.

Laureate of the 1st place in the nomination “Choreography” (mixed format) – Suleimenova Dalila, 3rd year BI student of the “Ballet art” department. Supervisors: Gulmira Nadymovna Gabbasova (Dean of the Faculty “Choreography”, Associate Professor of the Department “Ballet Master”) and Gulnara Nadymovna Gabbasova (Senior Lecturer of the Department “Ballet Master”).

The 1st place winner in the “Sport Ballroom Dancing” nomination (online format) is Ekaterina Dryagina, a 2nd year master student of the “Choreography Pedagogy” chair.
