Temirbek Zhurgenov KazNAA took part in the “Marie Curie Doctoral Network-Planning (MSCA)” meeting in Venice
On March 25-26, 2024, Vice-Rector For Research of the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts – Kabyl Khalykov took part in the “Marie Curie Doctoral Network-Planning (MSCA)” meeting in Venice (Italian Republic), organized by the University of Warwick (UK).
The consortium was attended by representatives of universities Dr Alexandra Curvelo, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Full Professor, The Department of History of Art (NOVA-FCSH), Director of the Art History Institute (IHA). Dr Aljosa Puzar, University of Ljubljana, Professor, Cultural Studies, University of Ljubljana (Faculty of Social Sciences). Dr Natalija Majsova, University of Ljubljana, Associate Professor, The Department of Cultural Studies, University of Ljubljana (Faculty of Social Sciences). Dr Jelena Todorovic, Professor in the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade. Dr Bishnupriya Dutt, Professor and head of the School of Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi, President of International Federation for Theatre Research. Dr Luca Mola, Associate Professor in the History Department, Warwick, Director of Warwick in Venice. Dr Alan Ashton-Smith – Research Strategy and Development Manager (Arts) at Warwick.
As an Аcademic partner, The Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts proposed its initiatives under the theme “Developing new ideas about emerging forms of artistic and cultural production, heritage projects in response to old and new images of the Silk Road.” The University of Warwick invited Academy Masters and PhD students to Venice to participate in Autumn School seminars.
