On August 7, 2024, the Dean of the “College of Sound and Image Arts” of the Tainan National University of the Arts, Professor Tsai Chin-Tong, paid an official visit to the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh national academy of arts. During the meeting, Professor Tsai Chin-Tiong and Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the Academy Khalykov Kabyl discussed a number of important issues related to future cooperation between the two educational institutions.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to such strategic areas as academic mobility, exchange of faculty and PhD researchers, participation and joint competitions and exhibitions. These issues are important for both sides, as they allow deepening scientific and educational ties, as well as facilitating the exchange of experience and gaining expertise.

Earlier, the leadership of the Academy’s “Cinema and TV” department held a joint online film festival with Taiwanese colleagues, where the best films of our Academy’s students and teachers were presented. During this visit, an agreement on co-operation between the two universities was reached and highlights were discussed, which will further strengthen the cultural ties between the two educational institutions.
