Results of the Republican subject Olympiad on GEP B028 «Choreography»

26–27.03.2025 at the department «Pedagogy of Choreography» the XVII Republican Subject Olympiad among the students of the organizations of higher and postgraduate education was held. On the Group of educational programs B028 «Choreography» students of the following 8 universities took part in the Olympiad:

1. M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University (Uralsk);
2. Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts (Almaty);
3. Kazakh National Academy of Choreography (Astana);
4. Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University (Almaty);
5. Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University (Almaty);
6. Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University (Kyzylorda);
7. M. H. Dulati Taraz State University (Taraz);
8. M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University (Shymkent).

In the first round students answered the questions in the tickets for the disciplines «Theory and Methodology of Teaching Classical Dance» and «Theory and Methodology of Teaching Kazakh Dance».

In the second round students took part in an intellectual game on the discipline «History of Choreographic Art».

Within the framework of the Olympiad at the faculty of «Choreography» 2 master classes on contemporary dance and Kazakh dance, as well as a round table dedicated to the issues of modern choreographic education were held.
