“SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL POLICY IN THE ERA OF DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT,”

On December 14-15, 2023, teachers of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences took an active part in the International Round Table “Scientific Research and Educational Policy in the Era of Digital Development” dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Department of Russian Philology and World Literature of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi KazNU
Research Institute of Turkology and Altaist Studies of Al-Farabi KazNU
Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences of Temirbek Zhurgenov KazNAA.

Purpose:

The purpose of the round table is to exchange experience and views on trends in the development of humanitarian knowledge as a factor in improving the quality of education, the development of a scientific linguistic school, the integration of education, science and practical activities. The idea of continuity of generations is the basis of the activities of the team of the scientific and educational project “Epoch and Personality”.

Problems considered at the Round Table:

the impact of digital development on scientific research;
changes necessary in educational policy to support scientific research;
Implications for educational policy in the transition from traditional research methods to digital;
the resources and infrastructure necessary to support scientific research;
skills and competencies that should be developed by researchers in an era of rapid change.
