The exhibition “Echo” dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan has opened at the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts

The ALUAN laboratory of young art historians organized a project for the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was held on December 13, 2023 at 12:00 o’clock, attended by the department of “History and Theory of Fine Arts” of the Faculty of Art History, together with the departments of “Art”, “Decorative Arts”, the Academy “Boarding School” and the opening ceremony of the creative exhibition took place “Zhangiryk” of professors and teachers of the “College”!

The December uprising is a significant event in the history of the Kazakh people, who strived for freedom and independence. This event shocked the Kazakh people and awakened their desire for independence. It brought the Kazakh people the independence they had been striving for for so many years. It was a day when the dreams of many of our heroes and lions who dreamed of this day came true.

These days should not be erased from our memory forever. In honor of the great day, many poems, epics, and works of art in all fields of art are being published today. This will continue from now on. When did the spirit hidden in the formative years of Kazakh fine art become vividly displayed today and begin to inspire our future? The bright stars of Kazakhstan, our talented artists, in turn, could not distort so many untainted truths in such works as “Kokpar”, “Atameken” by K.T. Telzhanov, “Draining of Asau” by M. Kenbaev. Today, an energetic generation continues the path of such energetic artists, reviving the path they paved. It is in the hands of today’s generation to convey the echoes of the good road built by heroes over many centuries.

At the exhibition “Zhangyryk” thematic works of teachers of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Temirbek Zhurgenov are presented to your attention. “Conspiracy” (2014) by Zhumakyna Kairambaeva raises the problems of contradictions in society and puts forward important thoughts between humanity. “December Eagles” (2021), “From the Pages of History” (2020) by S. Tainova, “Kairat Ryskulbekov” (2021) by K. Shukirbekova, “Zheltoksan Yzgari” (2021) by T. Suleimenov with an emphasis on The theme of the exhibition, depicting a spiritual image innocence of the victims of December, is aimed at imagery.

Today, the images of Alash intellectuals and our heroes who dreamed of independence are resolved in a metaphorical sense, with allegorical philosophical forms, and the priority is to attract the viewer’s attention to them. Zh. Hayrambaeva, R. Bazarbaeva, N. Sauytbekov, B. Doszhanov, O. Kumar, whose works immerse the viewer in deep thoughts, translating the artistic language into their mysterious language. The main image of the tragedy is a mother and child; moments of her depression and terrible suffering are especially reflected in the work of K. Umbetova. Conflict in society, the main characters of the December events, our heroes who longed for independence and the tragedy of mother and child… and then INDEPENDENCE came. Independence soared in the sky like an eagle bird, the day is past, the white traces of history reach us today through the exhibited works.
